Cousins

Hi Bonnie, a friend of mine, Kathy Ohley, sent you an email reminding you of a long-lost cousin from Granite City, me, Dianne Hudson.

I remember as kids, you were very tall, and I always thought you were the most mature girl I knew. I was awed. I vaguely remember playing, as kids, maybe in Alton, maybe in GC. I remember a little white house with a chain-link fence around it. I think that was you.

The last time I saw you was in St. Louis at the Gaslight Square district. You were on a break and we spoke very quickly.

My mother was Ruthie Bell, married to Owen Hudson, although I think you're on my mother's side...I'm not sure about our connection. I remember your father also, he died so young. I'm trying to think of other relatives, the Danforths, the Bells, the Hechts. I want to say the Crawfords and Diaks, but I'm not sure we're related, maybe just long-time friends of the family. It was just me, my mother, and my sister, Donna, she was married to Rich Pieper. She lives in Fresno, my son lives in San Francisco, and I'm in San Antonio, Texas, temporarily. I'm moving back to Austin, been there for 40 years, in another year or so.

I've followed you over the years and have seen what a treasure you've become. Do you ever keep in touch with family back home? All my close family back home is gone, so I rarely go to GC anymore. It almost seems like a dream that I even lived there, and grew up there.

I'd love to hear from you when you get a chance...see if we can tell stories about family and maybe remember long lost thoughts.

You Cousin, Dianne Hudson-dleahudson@gmail.com

Sweet Bonnie Bramlett

Where can I download a digital version of Sweet Bonnie Bramlett, one of my favorite albums of all time? Can't find it on Itumes, and no CD is available. I am having withdrawals. Any suggestions? And when are you coming to Colorado?

Love You and Delaney

Ooops I said I first heard you guy with the Delaney and Bonnie and Friends On Tour with Eric Clapton. I messed it up and said it was On the Road with Eric. Close but not quite a ciigaar. Oh well, I'm old now and my minds a little goofy. I probably smoked a little too much wacky when I was younger.

love you and Delaney

I was just listening to D, B & Frnds on YouTube w/ Duane. I was just wondering what you were doing. I didn't know that you & Delaney had split up and I didn't know he was gone. I found you guys with the On The Road w/ Eric and I've love you ever since!!! The reason you had so many friends is because we ALL LOVED YOU!! I am really happy to hear that you have kept rockin! I don't watch too much TV but I love Rosanne and so I saw you on that show and didn't even imagine that it was you.

I'm now in my mid 60's and I still love your voice which was why I was just listening to you, Delaney and Duane on YouTube. Be WELL . . . Always!!!

The 1973 great beach adventure-Hawaii

Aloha Bonnie,

I don't know if you remember me, but I was the Assistant Manager at the Surfrider hotel in Hawaii back in '73 when you stayed there.  We went to the beach with your girlfriend to the other side of the island with a bottle of Southern Comfort.  I was one of the best beach times ever.

I have since worked with Sheraton in New Zealand, Australia, and Indonesia and then in Key West, FL.   In 2003 I came back to Hawaii again and have been on the Big island since working for Aston hotels.  I was here when you were filming with Rosanne, but I never knew it until I saw you on TV!

I'm married now, otherwise I wouldn't mind another beach outing!  I wish I had the super 8 movies I took at the beach.  Unfortunately, they have been long lost in the various moves I have made.

I hope you are as irrepressible as ever!

David
