A couple of years ago, shortly after hearing some Delaney and Bonnie on a college station in Pittsburgh (WRCT), I fondly remembered checking the album "Delaney & Bonnie & Friends on Tour with Eric Clapton" out of the community library in Castle Shannon, PA when I was in high school. The next time I was in a record store, I picked up a used copy of Lady's Choice. I was just listening to it again. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Hey Bonnie, today a fan emailed me from New York asking who the "chick singer" was singing with me on several songs from my 1987 Rhino album, "Those Dangerous Gentlemens". Of course that question immediatly dropped my mind right back into that little studio in Burbank where we drank some red wine, told some old stories and laughed a lot most of the night while we cut those vocal tracks together, way back in '86. That session came right after you had opened for me at The Country Club in Reseda. After heaaring you again I just had to get your voice on my songs... Uh huh, I bet I got your attention now. We got lost while you were doing all that acting and I was always on tour.
His question caused me to look you up to see how you are doing and that led me to filling out this little deal, so there ya are. I'm glad to see your pictures and read about you. After all, you're from Mississippi, I'm from Alabama and we both grew up singin' in church... so we can't help doin' like we do... God bless you and keep you goin' down the road of your choosin' girl.
Love, Yo' boy...

I fell in love with music in 1964, I was 8 years old. I was supposed to be in bed however I stayed up to watch Ed Sullivan. I will never forget, " Ladies and Gentlemen from Liverpool England, The Beatles. I picked up the guitar the next day, and from then on, it was a love affair. I am left handed, and play righty, mostly because you could not get a lefty guitar or teacher back then. So is Duane, Johnny Winter, and Gary Moore. After the demise of Cream, I was exposed to Eric and his new Stratocaster sound, which is the first time I heard of Delaney and Bonnie. I saw you as a second act at the Fillmore East a few times. I fell in love with your sound. I think you and Delaney were simply incredible. Before the internet, one had to listen, over and over again, note by note to learn. In a way it was better. I came to feel the artist, their phrasing, their soul. I spent countless days and weeks with you, Eric and Delaney down in that basement listening, mastering it. You should be so proud of what you have done and accomplished. Eric once acknowledged that it was Delaney that taught him how to sing. Thank you for the music. It was a beautiful trip, wasn't it. I look at the old flower posters and peace signs, and it takes me back to a more innocent and wonderful time. Peace my friend

Hi Bonnie, I don't know if you remember me from Chandler Lodge back in the 80's. I have awesome memories of being with you at your house and being part of the Chandler Choir. I hope all is well with you. If you make it to Austin call me. We live here now. Love you, Kelly 818 326 0942

Dear Bonnie, That's what my man is for has and still is by far my favorite female sung song of all time and your version of it on the on tour with EC album has in my biased opinion, the greatest scream of all time. I was in Jr. High school at the time I bought it and it still is in heavy rotation in my music play list. I recently turned on a friend who sings in Oakland CA to this recording and I hope she includes it in her song set. I've never written a letter or email to an entertainer before but you have been a real source of strength and inspiration for many years. Thank you so much.
thanks for the music
