Great Memories

Bonnie, you were my very favorite singer when I was growing up, I even named my daughter after you! Your voice has no equal and you are as beautiful as always! I still remember the concert at one of the colleges in New Jersey where Delaney tried to play Clapton's riff on Comin Home and couldn't do it. He was so self effacing, laughing more at himself than anyone, it was a rich moment I'll never forget. The concert was one of the best I've ever been to, even today.?

I was just reminded of you when watching TV and hearing "Never Ending Love for You, one of my all time favorite songs.?

Thanks so much for bringing so much joy in my life listening to you!

Love and Light to You Always!

R&B

Hey Bonnie, I have loved you for so many years.  I had a dream about meeting you last night and decided to get on the machine and look you up.  As a R&B singer songwriter I just want you to know what an inspiration you have always been.  I pray that someday maybe my dream will come true.  Peace and blessings of every kind to you and those you hold dear.  Love, Teri

Once upon a time

Once upon a time we had the 60's.....? there are lots of jokes about us and weather we remember those years... One thing I do remember is the music....? I read your memorial page... it reads like the who's who of rock and roll....? We did have a great decade and I'm proud that I was there, and got to see you, and others....? Keep the faith Bonnie... Like they say.. "With a little help from your friends" ...

Bonnie,I would like to share with you a memory that lives forever with me. You had been touring with Clapton and I fell in love with your voice and Delaney's style. You played the Fillmore as Delaney & Bonnie and the crowd kept calling out Clapton's name, which made me furious, because I had come to see your band. You told the crowd, "This man is playin his heart out for you...." I was so touched.

love, respect and Joan osborne

From my heart, I appreciate your gift and thank you for sharing it.?Your voice and your spirit?touched my soul the first time I heard you sing. It's refreshing and inspiring to hear "the real deal"!! A lot of it I know comes from the fact that the music touches you deeply. I recently re-found Joan Osborne and am so glad she is resurfacingl it would be amazing to hear the two of you sing together. May all the happiness and fun and inspiration you've brought into this world be returned to you many times over!!? Love, from Mississippi!

Wow!

My chldren did the second week of Kids on Stage this summer, which is just the greatest camp ever! But we were lucky enough to see you and your daughter perform. I have to tell you, the song about your daughter (Butterfly?), had tears rolling down my cheeks. My kids were rolling their eyes and the experience just validated for me how important music is and creativity. I am planning to continue to volunteer with the foundation doing whatever I can. I was a fan of yours back in the Roseanne days. I love your voice and you are an incredible performer! Your daughter inherited your talent too - no matter what she says! Thank you!

your wonderful music

dear bonnie, i am a relatively new listener to your music, but i really enjoy it. to me me it seems very timeless. i can tell it came from you and Delaney's hearts. I am sorry for your loss. i have lost many loved ones and know the devastation and heartache it brings. may god ease your pain, i plan to listen to your newer music and hope all is well with you and yours. your fan, eric "sheppy" shepherd.

How-do

Ms. Bonnie, when I was a mere slip of a lad I went to some do at the Hollywood Paladium, and was treated to a set by the original, accept no substitues, Delaney and Bonnie and Friends.  It set me back on my heels.  Do Right Woman, yes yes.  As I recall, Jimi Hendrix sat in for a song or two, but it was your pipes that grabbed me.  As soon as I could find it, I bought the "No Substitutes" album; I finally let it go about two years ago, but it was a struggle.  But as I no longer had a turntable anyway....  Years later I moved up to Ojai and heard you were frequently seen there, but not by me. Anyway, many many fine memories, and here's to you.

My wife and I have been fans forever. We've been married for 40 years and your families music has been an inspiration. God's Blessing on you and your family. We recently just got a computer and we go on You Tube daily just to watch a performance by one of the greatest groups in the world. It makes our day. Thank You Chris and Gail
