The voice of a Angel

Dear Bonnie, when I was young I remember watching Roseann show with my Dad it was are weekly time together and even after all they played was re-runs we still watched it weekly. The episode when you sang my Dad fell in love!!! He went on and on about your voice and how pretty he thought you are, I remebered that being one of my favorite episodes and loving your voice as well. I never thought or knew that you had cds and also youve really got a hold on me recorded until my Dad became sick with cancer I was looking online and something about Roseann poped up and it made me think of are old memories so I googled you and found that you had cds and one with that song on it .. I bought it right away and brought it home i played it for my Dad every day until he passed away. It is hard to bring joy to someone facing death and in pain and sickness every day, but your voice put a smile on his face, hints the voice of a Angel?. I owe you a big thank you for that and know that your gift truly touched someones life .. thank you Bonnie sincerly Ricky Crump xoxoxoxoxo

My Heroes

I?have been and still am a massive fan and in my estimation as a couple the music you bought to the world cannot be beaten. I have just instructed my daughters to make sure they play?the whole album of To Bonnie from Delaney?when i depart the world. Your daughter is also excellent . When is she touring in the UK?? Thank You and your husband for the music.

Blessings and inattentive husbands.......

It's a fact of life: God doesn't bless all of His children with musical ability. Fortunately, however, you have chosen to share your blessing with those of us who "can't carry a tune in a bushel basket". (Speaking of which, I sincerely apologize for totally trashing your songs by attempting to sing (wail?) along with you)

I'm almost ashamed to admit I had never heard your music prior to the Roseanne show. On the evening "You Really Got a Hold on Me" aired, my husband and I were watching the show together. My initiation to your music went something like this:

Me: (In kitchen, rustling up snacks while Roseanne Picnic Table Scene unfolds)

Me: "OMG, who's singing that song?"

Husband: "Roseanne?"

Me: "No! The one with an actual voice!" (Sorry, Roseanne)

Husband: "I dunno."

Me: "Arrrgghhh!!!! Which character is singing right this moment???"

Husband: "The blonde"

Me: "Oh, like that tells me who it is!"

Husband: "The one who plays Roseanne's waitress friend. Betty....Bonnie......Buelah......whatever."

Me: (Abandoning half-constructed sandwiches, hurrying into other room to see TV)

Me: "It's BONNIE, you idiot!!"

Husband: "Whatever....."

Me: "Wow! She has a truly amazing voice!"

Husband: (Reluctantly grunting in agreement)

Me: "Honestly, she should give up acting and focus on a career in singing!  I wonder if she's ever considered that option?"

Husband: (Non-commital grunt)

Me: "Well?"

Husband: "Well, what?"

Me: "Well, what do you think???"

Husband: "About what?"

Me: "About the price of tea in China, you moron!!!" (Rolling eyes in futility and heading back to kitchen)

Husband: "What??? WHAT did I do now???"

Me: "Make your own darn sandwich......"

However, thanks to YouTube, I was able to track down your seemingly unending supply of songs and enjoy them to my heart's content.

As for my husband........ well, let's just say he's still as "attentive" (???) as ever when it comes to our conversations. But, what the heck......he's still a "keeper".  :)

thinking of you

I've been a fan for a very long time.?I've been trying to find the song dont decieve me. had it on an album probably 8 track too but can't find it anywhere to listen! would give anything to hear you sing it again!

Webmaster: This song appears on Delaney & Bonnie's song, "Motel Shot", which is often easier to find on LP than on import CD.

Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas

Just want to wish my cousin a "Merry Christmas"  Be blessed!  And give my love to your sisters!

Never Ending Song of Love

Went to a fellow author's website and she had this song playing. I had forgotten just how much I love it. I'm learning to play it on my guitar. Thanks for all the lovely music, it has sure saved my soul.

What If

"What If" is a great song that I hear on the local Hagerstown, Md. station WJEJ. I do not see much mention of it on the inet though. It is a classic song and deserves more visibility. Dino Delray
