One of my greatest experiences as a recording engineer was working with you and Delaney on the "Blue Album".?You both were so easy-going and fun.?And the music... well, I learned alot on that session about soul, funk, and groove.? Delaney's rhythm guitar playing has always been an inspiration to me.?Your vocal performance on "Lay Down My Burden" gives me chills to this day.?I sure miss those good old days.? Hi Bonnie. One episode of Roseanne, you sang the song you've really got a hold on me. I LOVED IT! I wish you recorded so I could get u singing the song. It touched my heart and soul. I cry when I hear it. Makes me feel closer to God. I know its not a christian song, but I feel it me talking to God when i sing with you. I NEED HIM and He never let go. At times, I didnt want Him. I wanted to do my own thing. But HE Knew I needed Him and wouldnt let go. Thank you. And if you ever record this song for downloads, I WOULD DEFINATELY GET IT!!! It's on the surface about a team of Negro Baseball League players who are all still alive and playing music (blues, jazz, and classical) back East. I have been in love with you and your music ever since my days in Vietnam in the late 60's. Yours and Delaney's music helped me get through some different and trying times. I became reaquainted with you from your appearances on the Roseanne Show. Thank You so much for your music. It brings back many memories.
