Just saying Hi

Bonnie we never did meet you, but we did meet Delaney,Tommy, Spooner, and Bekka at the Calvary Chapel church in Los Angeles many years ago. We went to the church and just fell in love with Delaney. Went to his house a couple of times to just sit around and chat. That is when we met his mom Mamo also. We are both very sorry at the passing of Delaney. We both think that Delaney, Tommy, and Spooner, are the reasons that we loved going to chuch, and singing with him so much. Loved your bio. You are truly an incredible lady, and have some serious history in the music and TV industry. We would love to meet you some day. God bless

Just saying hello

Hi Bonnie, I am embarrassed to say I did not know you back as Delaney and Bonnie; however I fell in love with you on Roseanne.?I only wanted to be YOU. I wanted to look like you and most of all I wanted to be able to sing like you.?

You have the most incredible voice and I could listen to it all day. Bless you?and I hope you are well and happy.

With warm hands and heart,

Becky

just saying hi

Hi Bonnie, I do not know if you remember me but I am the wife of your old drummer (Moe) back in the early 70"s.? You used to watch my daughter (Lori) a few times.? I just wanted to say hi and so sorry to hear about Delaney.? Love you always, ?Rosi Mosley?

hotels motels and roadshows

I bought the album hotels motels and roadshows and this was the first I heard of you but you were a stand out and the voice just got to me I have tryed to find this on cd but no luck you only had one song on that album but it was enough that it led me to other works of yours I still have the original album and is one of my favorites to this day

atlanta

heard you & delanay in atlanta around 70 or 71. best rock band i have ever heard.  you laid hall & oates "in the shade." thanks

you are timeless

I am an Illinois girl, too - Granite City is my hometown. I grew up listening to your music and always thought you were the coolest thing that came out of the Midwest. I have mine and my brother's old Delaney and Bonnie albums and I still listen to them. I am also a huge Leon fan and love your collaborations... wish you wrote more songs together. My favorite recording of yours is from an old vinyl cutout title "Hotels Motels and Roadshows". You are singing with Grinderswitch; you are singing "Superstar" like no one ever sang that song before you did that night. WOW That is one of my favorite recordings and you are a genuine talent. Thank you for the great great music.

How special you are!

Just letting you know that I enjoy our visits. I love ya bunches.  Let me know when your next local gig is, I just might pop up!

another fan

Dear Bonnie, I have to admit I?wasn't familiar with your music, but I thought you were brilliant on Roseanne. I loved the way you delivered your lines. Made me want to be your friend... haha. And your singing has the same warmth. Thank you for entertaining us.

Totally proud to carry the name. Your bio is beyond admirable and intriguing!? Met you in 1982 at Playground South (we hung out a bit) in Jacksonville, Florida. I was in the navy at the time! Live in Maine but from Arkansas... If you ever plan to come to Maine, drop a line or call me at 207-754-6003.? My girl just read your bio and was in total awe!

We both appreciate musical and acting talent very much. God Bless!

Go back in your memory to the last gig you did in NYC (2005?)?at BB Kings.? There was a guy backstage with a dozen white roses for you.? That was me.? I also sent you a "girly Japanese fan" I've seen you use in videos on YOUTUBE.

Anyway, I remember you and Delaney from the beginning.? You both were trailblaizers.? Eric Clapton has gone on record as saying Delaney taught him to sing.? George Harrison is on record as saying when he quit the Beatles, he wanted a more "Delaney and Bonnie" type band.? You guys were one of the top concert draws of the early seventies and everyone wanted to work with you.? There are too many artists to name who would never have existed were it not for Delaney and Bonnie.? Its is so odd that with the huge RocknRoll Hall of Fame concert this year, I was actually thinking WHY Delaney and Bonnie were not nominated. And I know there are many more out there thnking the same thing.? You also had 3 top ten?singles (Soul Shake, Free the People, Never Ending Love)

So I officially am offereing my services as Northeast Coast Rep for getting recognition.? I can talk for DAYS about Delaney and you and what you meant to the rock world.? And I love workin the phones and letters.? So sign me up.......I told you that night at BB Kings you were? legendary in music and I meant it!!? I'd still buy a CD of you singing the phonebook if you recorded it.

So whatever you guys need......lemme know. I'm ready and rarin'

God Bless
