Hi Bonnie,

I have always heard about you, mostly because of the same last name and the fact that you are quite an outstanding artist. I would like to meet you some day. We also have the same birthday, almost. I was born Nov 7th 1944. One whole day older than you, but you sure look much better than me.

Take care and God bless,Paul.

Newbie

I just recently discovered your music and now hooked! Your voice is amazing and your history is incredible. I hope someday to see you in concert!

Come out more this year Bonnie!

Hi! My name is Jeff, I'm 24 and live in the far south suburbs of Chicago. I have been a Delaney and Bonnie fan ever since I saw Vanishing Point when I was in jr. high. It really, really surprises me how many people claim to be record buffs but have never heard of D&B. Well, I'm not down 'cuz I ain't missing out! My favorite DB?song?is "When This Battle Is Over". Anyway, I don't know if Bonnie reads this site but we love you and want to see you come out. I know establishing dates is tough but?you are all I have left out of a wonderful band?I was never around to see. : ) If you play Gritzfest next year I may just come out but play Illinois! There are so many cool little clubs in the city and the 'burbs who?would just love to have you I'm sure. Anyway, if you are reading this, Bonnie, thank you so much for your beautiful music. It has?helped to get?me through some very rough recent times in my life. And?I hope to see you out so I can hear that wonderful voice for myself just once!

Peace and God bless,

Jeff?

Roseanne Show MP3s

Thank you so much for sharing the MP3s from your Roseanne performances.  Saw the bowling ally episode today and had to find you on the internet.  You're amazing!

your shows

?Hi! I will looking be looking?foward to see you perform in the near future hopefully. After looking at your biography?I realized??I have seen you perform in the past several times with groups.??I was looking at some of your photos with my cousin,Sandra Hollis,in Macon Ga.?I went down to work on her house repairs for about a week. She was sad to see me leave because she had been missing Mike a lot and today was his birthday. She will be a grandmother in the next 2 weeks. I'm thinking of going back for a while to keep her company and?be her personal exercise?trainer. That will be hard as we both like to cook and eat. Anyway the Macon women have always been top notch sweet?HA Ha. Thanks for your time!

Strawberry Fields

?Greetings!? I enjoyed so much in your website, esp. the photos.? Peter Thompson's 1970 Toronto pic. interests me.?? I was 15 in 1970 and hitch-hiked from Western NY to "Strawberry Fields" @ Mosport Speedway north of Toronto.? It was my First big Outdoor Concert and I have never forgotten Delaney & Bonnie's performance! I would so appreciate any links or fotos of that event. I do remember that Jose Feliciano came onstage and Jammed along!? Priceless!? Dean Marshall?

Thanks, Bonnie

Bonnie,

Thank you.  What more can be said for the 'reach down into depth of the soul' character of your unparalleled talent?

Like so many, I discovered you on Rosanne.  Then I searched around and found your stellar performance of  "Hurt "at 3rd and Lindsley on YouTube.    You tore out my heart with the very first bar of the song and held on until the final, brilliant, deliciously painful note.

Immeasurable vocal talent....yeah sure, no question....but your impeccable phrasing and insinuation of life's turbulence into the lyrics is, in my humble opinion, what transforms you from a mere singer into a masterful, world-class vocal powerhouse.

I would never compare your bigger-than-life style to artists like Jimmy Scott, Shirley Horn or Sarah Vaughn.   But you  share with them  an astonishing ability to deliver a lyric like nobody’s business.

Thank you, Bonnie…and here’s hoping I get to see you live.  Hope you schedule some tour dates in Atlanta or anywhere for that matter!

Hello Bonnie

Hi Bonnie... I just wanted to say Hello and a real big thank you for all the inspirational music... I saw you live in England 1969 in Newcastle (both shows)... they blew me (and the 3000 others in the audience away... the only gig I have ever attended where people were on their feet for the whole show... and one of the few shows where Eric smiled on stage!
