Musings from a senior citizen.....

Delany and Bonnie.? Oh my!? My very favorite singers in late sixties and early seventies.? My kind of music, felt like we were kindred spirits.??That voice of Bonnie's... I'd have given most anything to sound like her.??Still would.? I am now 70 yrs old, but I STILL?visit?youtube and listen to the best music in the world, and wish we could?have all those days back again.??I miss them so much! ?I miss that MUSIC!? Yes, D&B still have me dancing!!? I've downloaded all I can find on youtube.? I was so?sad when the split came, you guys were so perfect together in the music.??Then.... very sad when Delany left us.??Haven't been that sad since Waylon left.????

Oh I know we ALL have to leave at some time, but we'll meet those who've gone before?in the light.??I look forward to that.? ?

And Bekka!? Have seen Bekka a few times on CMT or GAC, and once when she was singing Tumbling Dice with ???..excuse me... having a senior moment here, but I was SO impressed.? You must be so proud of her.??

Take care Bonnie, you are very much loved....

What A Talented Person

Bonnie, We loved you on Roseanne. You have such a distinctive voice, So very powerful. Did you ever record the song, You Really Got?A Hold On Me on one of your albulms? I would love to?have that song.? With Love, Steve and Donna

I have seen the "Roseanne-Backyard BBQ" episode about a hundred times strictly for the solo you sing.  I can't put into words just how beautiful your voice and how totally moving it is to hear you sing!!!

p.s. I would love to see you--come to houston!!!

Will you be performing at the Tampa, Fl, casino as you did about two years ago.? Or something of that nature over the summer months?

Thank you.

Beautiful People...

Hi Bonnie,

I first seen you as you appeared on the Roseanne show, I think you were famous before my time, I am 37 yrs old.? You were one of my favorite characters and I wish they had more scenes with you.... and then I heard you sing!? OMG!!!? That episode stuck with me since it first aired and I have found it, it is a favorite!? It took me this long to find it.. gotta love Youtube.. and until today I didn't even know your name.? Well, today... officially... you have a new fan and I will read all about you.? I have to say, I admired your kindess I seen that come out in your character, to me that is something that cannot be covered.? I am not crazy.. lol... just a single mother of 3 kids and for some reason, music moves me.? I can't carry a note as far as anyone can throw me.. LOL.. but I still try.? Anyhow, I just had to tell you, tell someone... I guess it comes with age and experience in life but.. I think it is important to get your message out to people, it's the Libra in me.? Take care, and good luck in everything you do!?

Hey

Hey Bonnie,

I met you at Scott Boyers benifit in Birmingham and played tenor sax on the 1st cut of your latest record down at Johnny Sandlin's. Just saying hello and hope you're well.

Joe

a God given voice..

Eric Clapton's debut album was my favorite record in that golden summer of 1970, but it was the sound of your voice that swept me away; that outro on "Told You For The Last Time", where you sing "for the last time, whoo hoo hoo" just floored me, and I would play it over and over until I had to go out and buy another copy. Then, once I heard "That's What My Man Is For" off the live album ("this is a red light song"), I was hooked. "So Hard To Say Goodbye" off of "Home" is one of my favorite soul songs of all time. Your solo albums have all been secret little gifts I share with my friends, and I can't thank you enough for sharing your talent with the world. Rest in peace, Delaney, and God bless you, Bonnie Bramlett.

The first time I heard your voice

A long time ago (40 years?) a friend of mine,?a life time musician played your album with Mr. Clapton and I?heard the first primal scream, I love Ms Joplin but I adore and love you.
