your music

I just ordered the 'Motel Shot' CD, and I can hardly wait to get it, and hear your magnificent voice again. I expect I'll shout a little when I crank it up on 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken'! My late brother introduced me to yours and Delaney's music in 1972, when I was 14.
I hope to hear you in person some day.
God bless you and keep on singing!

Delaney and Bonnie Live w/ E. Clapton

Dear Bonnie:
? First of all... I'm grieved by the passing of your partner in musical excellence... Delaney Bramlett.? Second... thank you for over 30 years of continuous enjoyment as I listen and rehearse (I'm a wanna-be rock drummer) to your album... "Delaney and Bonnie Live with Eric Clapton."? I hope the years are kind to you?as you have provided my wife and I countless hours of musical enjoyment.? We have carried this concert with us from album to 8-track to CD.? When I want a real workout... this is what I play to along with.
Thank you.

Hi Bonnie!
First, let me offer my belated condolences on Delaney's passing. I never met him, but like most of us I am familiar with his work. Your 'Memorial Page' is heartwarming, uplifting and in the finest of taste.
It's been a while since we've communicated, and I am glad to see that things are going well for you. I own a small dinner theater in Maggie Valley, NC, just 20 minutes from Asheville, and I regret that I didn't know you would be playing there at the Grove Park Inn. I would have certainly come to see you!
We have many memories together, and I would love to be able to spend a bit if time recalling the memorable moments of St. Louis all those years ago. I still think about Ike and his band at Club Imperial, with Raymond Hill, Tank Oliver, Clayton Love and all the rest of the great musicians and singers that made up the St. Louis R&B scene back in the day.
Take care, Bonnie, and if we ever get a chance to reunite, I'm sure we could exchange some great stories. Write back if you can, and I'll be watching your schedule for a chance to see you.
Your bass playing bud (I stlll have the same one!),
