Lady's Choice

When I was in college in the late 70's I bought a copy of Lady's Choice. I wore that album out and it would still be one of my favorite albums if it wasn't so badly scratched. That was truly one of my favorite records I ever had.

Latest album

Bonnie

How are you sweet girl?? I've been a fan for years and I just bought your latest album.? It is soooo soulful and so fine!? I really love it and just had to send you a note and say thanks!? I'm 53 years old and I feel in a lot of ways like my life is just beginning.? I'm about to finally get a college degree and afterward I'm focusing on finally recording my first album in my home studio.? My wife Linda gave me ProTools about the same time I started back to school so I've had to put the music on hold, yet again, in order to finish school but it's finally going to happen and this is an amazing time for me.? It's made all the more special by picking up this gem from you!? I sense you've become a bit more spiritual and I relate to that very much.? All the best Bonnie!? I've loved your amazing voice since I was a High Schooler.? I have a playlist on my iPod called Paul's Juke Box and I have you and Delaney and Eric doing "That's What My Man Is For".? My favorite!!? God bless you Bonnie.? Continued success!

Festival Express

Hi Bonnie.?

?By any chance do you remember the?Winnipeg stop on the Festival Express train.? I had the privilage of meeting you and Delaney there. I doubt if you would remember me but you might remember a big white Samoyed.? I will forgive you if you can't recall after all it was the sixties.? I've been a fan since before then and really enjoyed watching you on Roseanne. It did bring back so many memories.? Thank you for being you and?you still have a lot of fans in Canada.?

Sam the Soul

I was a regular customer at Don Zirilli's "The Embers" in Redwood City between 1966 to 1969.  Among the great acts were you and Sam the Soul - I was a big fan!  What ever happened to Sam and what was his full real name?  I really can't find much about him on the Internet.

mutual friends

inspiration

Hey, girl,

You have always been my all time favorite performer, from days of Motel Shot, Home, Friends and a few others you all did?and the On Tour w/ Clapton, Mason,?especially Delaney, God rest his sweet soul.? I have turned on many of the younger set to your amazing lungs and, in their youthful assurance that they know it all, are so surprized that someone small and white could produce that volume of fantastic soul sound.? God, I love you, girl.? I'm chokin' up thinking you might actually read this.? I've never sent anyone any fan mail, so I feel a bit silly doing it now at age 65.

I remember reading of you knocking Elvis Costello off his bar stool cause he dissed Ray Charles and that did it for me.? I'll love you forever.? Be blessed, Angel.? Many, many folks love you and pray for you.? You are the all-time best in your field.

I live in Maine, now with my true love.? Any chance you'd gig up here in the great frozen North??

Be well and Prosper,

David

Thank You

I've been a BIG fan of Delaney and Bonnie since 1970 and it was a great joy for me to see you onstage with The Allman Brothers at the Beacon. You and Bekka sounded great!

Coming Home is one of my all time favorite songs and to see you do it with the Allmans was just incredible!! Thank you so much for all the great music you guys made.

Fan of Roseanne Show

I enjoy watching old reruns of Roseanne, and I especially enjoy the Mother's Day episode where you sing. You have such an amazing voice.  I enjoy listening to you.

You were in the St Louis area last year or so, and I regret I did not hear you sing.  I will watch for you to return, hopefully soon.

Best wishes.

from the past

Dear ?Bonnie

I met you in 1982 when you did your last tour with Grinderswitch up to Long Island. I gave you a copy of Memories, the Song "Lies " is on it, the one you wrote with Dru. I still live on Long Island and Grinderswitch was and still is my favorite band. I was very close with Dru till he past away and still friends with Ricky. I just want to thank you for touching my soul with your great music. I love the music that just came from?out from 1976.?I dance with my wife to Higher and Higher. I would love to get a copy of that for my self.? I just emailed Ricky and told him that you were playing with Tommy Talton.? I am going to the Allmans tomorrow night Mon the 23.

God Bless you

John
