Hi Bonnie,

Last night I got news that Bob Clark from Idaho Falls died. I don't have any details but I was told that he died peacefully in his sleep. I know he was diabetic but I don't know if that was the cause of death. A friend is sending me his obituary. I haven't seen him in several years since I don't make it back to Idaho very often. He thought (as did I) it was exceptionally cool that you would sing for us in your living room. I never would have imagined that I would have the pleasure of having a private audience with one of the finest artists around. I remember one time you, Bob and I were sitting on your front porch watching the goings-on in the neighborhood. You joked that you could be the monitor of the neighborhood, with horn-rimmed night vision goggles with a rhinestone in the corner... :) I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and I'm sure Bob did too.

Hi Bonnie.  I am married to your nephew Danny.  We just celebrated our 11th anniversary this month.  He has told me so many stories about his Aunt Bonnie that I feel like I know you.  We live just south of Denver so if you are ever in the area, please look us up.  I would love to meet you and I know he would love the opportunity to "catch up".

Bonnie, we came to see you last October at the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa.  You were so kind to autograph the placard and take photos with us.  We hung the placard prominently in our den!  Anyway, it's your day today!  Have a terrific birthday and keep on doing what you do.   We love you!

I have a few minutes before class so I thought I'd check in and see what up with you. I'm working on a degree in web design now. I love being in school. I was listening to Roots, Blues and Jazz today at work...I never get tired of it. I remember once you played and sang a song that you recorded with Nils Lofgfren. I had a copy of it but it has somehow gotten away from me. I haven't been able to find for sale anywhere. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I (and many others, I'm sure) wish you would come out West to sing for us. Gotta go.

I have been a fan since D&B days, 1969 and continue to listen to all your music.  My son was raised on your albums, and is a fan too.  We would very much like to travel to a concert.  Your site posts events completed, anything coming up for the remainder of 2008 or for 2009 that we can plan to attend?  I'm so sorry I missed Tampa, it is close and it must have been grand!
