Roseanne

I couldn't believe that is was you on Roseanne. I remember the song " Only you know and I know". That song brings back memories. David Crosby was also good on the show.

First time I heard Bonnie.

Hi The first time I heard Bonnie and knew who she was was on a 1978 radio special from the producers of the great radio show King Biscuit flower.? This was a session recorded for the DIR broadcasting featuring The Charley Daniels band, Bonnie, and four survivers of the air crash involving Lynyrd Skynyrd.? I never knew that D B and F recorded Only you know and I know, till I got it on a compilation called Rock's greatest hits.? I knew the song from Dave Mason's version.? Hope you read my posts Bonnie and thanks for the post concerning the graphic buttons.? My screen reader still doesn't see them, but it might be because of this being an older version of Jaws.? Call the number I gave you to the federation for more help and just take the tech center on the prompt.

write a better post this time Huh?

Hi Bonnie, lots more time this time Huh?? I just made it beating the screen reader before a time out.? I'm 46, blind and hope your Webmaster forwarded my message to you.? I gave him instructions to make parts of the site accessible to the blind namely labeling the graphic buttons so a screen reader could see what they do.? Your Daughter BEkka's site isn't accessible to the blind at all no labeling on the buttons.? Love your voice and Bekka's too so please write back and if you can I'd love to write Bekka too.? Soulfully yours Ken from New Jersey.?

Webmaster: Thanks, Ken, for pointing out how the site can improved for those using screen readers. I've labelled the menu buttons as suggested. Best Wishes, Peter.

Asbury Park shows early 70\'s

Old time fan here getting reacquainted. I went to a couple of shows in Asbury Park NJ probably in the early 70's. The first show D&B&F opened for Chicago and were so hot that Chicago get booed when they first came out. The next year Seals and Croft opened for DB&F and the band rocked again - too much for some people who left after S&C, so we moved right up front and stood on chairs for the rest of the show. And, all though I am a big Allman Brothers fan I did not know about Duane and Eric being among friends for some shows. So now I wonder who all were the friends those 2 times.

Bonnie - I sent our mutual friend Carol a cd of an old '71 session at a radio station you guys did with Duane and Gregg Allman sitting in as well as King Curtis and some others, and she is forwarding it to you - I hope it is something you don't already have.

My MOM SUNSHINE!

Hi Bonnie,

I was only a baby I guess the last time you saw me, but I'm Dianne " Sunshine" & Gerral Pearce's daughter April from Macon,GA. Mom speaks of you often and has tried to contact you in the past and had no luck. I'm still in GA, she's moved to SC a year ago for a job. I want to tell her about this site, but I 'd rather her just get to talk to you again, so I'm going to wait a few days in hope you'll see this  and be in touch. She is still that same person, I think anyway, my mom the hippy at heart, but she's shown me the 2nd greatest gift in life to love which I believe is *MUSIC*!

I read the comment posted last prior to this one and I immediately thought of the story Mom told me about what you use to do to sing in the black clubs. It's amazing how things have changed, but the music will stay no matter how much it changes! I hope we hear from you soon!

your voice

i bet u hear this alot but when i close my eyes and listen 2 your awesom singing i almost hear a soul singer only your not black not that it matters but you sound like an instrument kind of like a saxaphone you by far have one of the greatest voices i personally have ever heard in my life and i am a fan of bessie smith and billie holiday did they influence you in any way or are you just naturally a great singer? i among many love your music bonnie. my favorite album is the one with room 11 on the the cover on a door and the song never ending song of love is my favorate song on it.
