Going on 40 years

Hi Bonnie. My name is Ron Jennings, my great grandfather and Waylon's were brothers. After graduating from Art School I moved to LA in 69. Happened into the Brass Ring and met Terri Ball AKA Rodgers. She told me about this great band that was playing. Annie Payne AKA Rodgers her sister worked for Rita Cooledge. Thats when I first met you and Delaney. I have been a friend of Rita's all these years and also Billy Joe Shaver. I hear from Connie Nelson all the time. I am now living in Portland Oregon and just living the life of an artist. See my web at www.ronjennings.org and enjoy my paintings, a little history and some of my poetry. I still tell others that Delaney & Bonnie and Friends was the number one R & R band ever. When you played the Brass Ring I was at the bar every night even though one had to put up with Eddie M. Do you ever plan to stop in Portland Oregon. You would be great playing Jimmy Mac's which is one of the better Jazz Clubs there is. Also there is the Waterfront Blues Fest over the fourth of July. Lots of great places to play in this area. Rita is in the area at least once a year. Willie is in the area at least twice a year and Billy Joe is here all the time. Drop me a line at olron316@mac.com . I would love hearing from you. You are nr. one on my I-Pod. Love ya Ron Jennings

Granite Citian still worships your talent

I moved to Central Texas and unfortunately missed you at SXSW and wondered if you planned to come back?

Bonnie I don't get out much anymore but I am so glad I hung around to hear The Wall Saturday night. I don't?think some people appreciate real music and realized what a living legend you are.??When I heard your name and your voice you made my night. You were awsome and my heart goes out to you. Will you be making anymore surprise appearances like that in the near future? If so please let me know when and where.

Looking forward to purchasing your new cd. I love all your internet info., the old footage is great, I'd never seen all of that.
Good to hear new things are happening, you've always been the greatest voice I'd ever heard.
Best to you, Bon.

Big Fan

Thanks for the music and memories.  I've been listening since 1970 and it never gets old.

"Just Plain Beautiful"

5:30 AM-Got Bonnie Lynn in my ear helping me remember.

Hi Bonnie Lynn

So I'm sitting here and listening to you for the last couple of hours, because I couldn't find anyone better, even if I tried, which I'm not interested in doing, cause if anybody can sing a soundtrack to a life, well that would be you Bonnie. It's been a long, long night of remembering. It's amazing all the things you can remember when you just sit down and let your mind wander around all night. And for 40 years your voice has been the one coming out of the night and showing the way. Much Love and Respect for you girl, and just wanted to say thank you for caring.

Bonnie,
When you coming to NM, maybe Santa Fe? Miss hearing your voice.

Bonnie

I don't usually do these things in the internet on my lunch hour but I just wanna say that Bonnie's performance on the Roseanne show - "You really got a hold on me" was so awesome.??What a neat group of people sitting around that picnic table.?? I would like to pursue seeing her if she is ever in the Seattle/Tacoma area - or eastern Washington for the farmers and their summertime fairs.?

Puyallup Fair is in September Bonnie.? Come see us!!??? Feel like I know ya - let's have a beer.
