hello from NJ

First saw you on the Roseann show, the episode of you singing in the back yard.  From that moment, no voice could ever compare.  Years later, after my father passed away, having similar love and taste in music, I went through his collection and came across ‘I’m still the same’.  I have been searching high and low collecting all your albums since.  An absolute amazing talent.  I am thrilled about the new cd.   I’d love to see you if ever in the NJ/NYC area.

Long Time

Hi Bonnie, I am an artist/painter and when I moved to LA in 69 I started to see you and D every night at the Brass Ring when you played there. I got to know Rita and still have contact with her. I remember Bekka when she was just a tiny little girl. Just sent her a Birthday card. I am now living in Portland Oregon. Not many of the old crowed comes through Portland. Portland is a great Blues City. Lots of places for you to play here. In the summer over 4th of July weekend they have the Waterfront Blues Fest. It's held at Waterfront Park along the river and thousands come from all over the world to attend the four day fest. It was here that John Belushi got the idea to form the Blues Brothers jamming with them when he was making Animal House. This would be a great place for you to play. It would be great to see you in Portland. If you google Waterfront Blues Festifval Portland Oregon it will get you their webb. Give it a shot. Have a grand day.. Ron Jennings olron316@mac.com

Good to see you after all these years!

Bonnie: I don't know if you remember me but, we go back to 1980. You the "Church of the Open Bible" for a few years and we got to know all of your family members. I was seeing  Michelle and Gary recorded some backup in Nashville with you. It has been good to see Bekka grow up and look and sound just like her mom. I saw you in the Guardian and thought it would be good to touch base with you just to say hi. Tell all I said hi as well.

Delaney, Bonnie and Friends

Dear Ms. Bramlett,

My real, honest to God name is Bonnie Delaney. I was born in '58 so I can't attribute my name to your former group unfortunately.  I do however want to thank you for sparing me from a lifetime of "Hi Bonnie, where's Clyde?" which I'm sure you've dealt with your entire life as well. For me it changed in high school to even teachers asking me during attendance, "where's your friends?".  Forms requiring last name first often solicited the same response.  I'll be 50 in June, and still I occasionally get the same comments. I'll take them over the "Clyde" joke any day.

If you're ever in the Philadelphia area, please let me know, as I'd love to come and see you in person finally.  And thank you for sparing me a lifetime of stupid jokes.

We meet you after the first time you played there.  Couldn't make it the next year you came.  You signed my Delbert shirt with God Bless and your Signature.  Still have and treasure it.  Thanks so much. All the best to you and yours.  Saw Bekka with Vince in Lowell last yr.  She is great also.     Paul&Terri

Thunderous Applause

I've been an avid music fan of all genre for over 50 years and until I heard the music from Bonnie's album "I'm Still The Same", I really didn't understand or have an appreciation of a true music talent.  Acutally I had never heard of Bonnie until I was blown away with her acting and musical performance in the movie "The Guardian".  I have now collected everything I can find this marvelous woman sings albeit, the album I mentioned earlier, is by far and away the masterpiece of her musical capabilities.  I listen at home, at work and in the car.  Thank you Bonnie for this treasure of music you have made your own.  Regards, E. Linkous

the guardian

i'm watching the guardian.  just wanted to drop by and tell you how wonderful your voice is, and how beautiful you are. your appearances on roseanne were my favorites, except for the episodes with ziggy, he's a close second.
