Long Time Since Hearing You

God, it's been a long time since I've heard your music. I recently heard some on the Steve Earle sattelite radio program and was blown away all over again. You are wonderful. I've since listened to all the You Tube entries with you in them. What wonderful memories. Thank you.

Roseanne Song
25 March 2008
Hi!
I'm living in The Netherlands, and I saw a Roseanne episode today with Bonnie. It was the episode where they have a BBQ in the garden on mothers day. In the end Bonnie was singing with Dan. Really beautiful song!
Does anybody (or Bonnie of course) know what the song is called? I really want to have it :)
xxx from the netherlands!
[Moderator: The song is "You've Really Got A Hold On Me" and was recorded by Bonnie on "Lady's Choice" (1976)].

Ms. Bonnie--In 1970 I heard my first Delaney and Bonnie song (Soul Shake) and from that moment on I have been hooked on the greatest female voice in Rock/Blues/Southern Rock.? Your music has given me quite literally thousands of hours of pleasure, and during some rough times your music was there to turn to when there was nothing and no one else.? Your recording of "Oncoming Traffic" will always be the greatest 7 min plus in American recording history.? Musically it is the very audio defininiton of the blues,? And to me personally it was a beacon of light during some dark days.
I was thrilled to download your album "Beautiful" two days ago.? I knew it would be good.? But I am in awe of the fact that 38 years after I first heard your voice it still has the same?old power and fire.? Your voice is a national treasure.
In July of 2004 my wife, Libby,?and I had the joy of hearing you live in Easthampton, NY.? You were gracious enough to spend a minute or two talking with me and posing for a picture with me and Libby.? After years of listening to your music I figured you must be a really nice person.? That evening in Easthampton you proved to be warm, gracious, and a class act in a business that has so few.
Again thank you for all the years of all that great music.? And thank God for Bonnie Bramlett.

Jey, I heard you on KGSR yesterday, interviewed by Jody Denberg. I would like to know what your favorite albums are from your Bonnie and Delaney days to solo?
