Delaney and Bonnie
17 November 2007
Bonnie,? Glad to see you well and looking fresh with your art!? I just read Eric Clapton's book and of course you and yours are mentioned throughout.
I grew up listening to Eric, The Allman Bros, The Dead, Delaney and Bonnie, The Stones, Ray Charles?and as many soulful albums as I could spin in a day without my Mom telling me to get on with my homework.?
At the end of Eric's book I felt compelled to write to him, which I have done and now to you.?
What a trip to be young and witness all the 60's, 70's and 80's stuff and come out of it with your wits!!? How lucky for those of us who appreciate the 'pure' music of blues that you and your friends gave us.? Thanks for years of pleasure to my ears.? Lucky for me, my husband is a drummer and my 13 year old is into music.? My husband and I constantly introduce him to our music with the hopes that one day he'll realize his stuff is pure 'shit'!? He's morphing our way... slowly but thankfully.? But then again...my Mom thought some of the stuff I listened to was 'shit'!? Anything but!? Keep inspiring, writing and singing.? The worlds ears need to hear you.
Want to know more about what you're doing artistically these days?
New to Bonnie!

Love Always,
Timothy
Just Hi
04 November 2007
Just thought I'd drop a line and say hi. Hi. I just graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. And to think it only took me 25 years! Now it's time to start looking for a job. Think you'll ever perform in this part of the country? I'd love to see you again even if it's only as a spectator.
It seems like every thing is going well for you. I listen to Roots, Blues and Jazz often. I also have a copy of a cassette tape of The Ike and Tina Turner Review. Is that you singing "Make'em Wait"? Even as a kid your voice is unmistakeabe. Anyway, I've yammered on long enough. Hope to hear you sing again either live or memorex!
Take care
Pep
See you tonight!! 11/03/07 in Tampa!
04 November 2007
Bonnie, we are so excited you selected our little town to grace us with your awesome presence!? You performing with the Mr. Groove Band at our own Hard Rock (Seminole Indian Casinio)!? I have to admit except for "Never Ending Song of Love" and "Roseanne" (Happy 55 today!) I would not have had any idea that you had done so much in your(s) and a lot of other artists' lives, until I joined your Yahoo site.? I am so glad I did, lest I never would have known you were gracing our town with your wonderfullness!!!! We, my partner Bruce and I (Scott) will be here at 9:00 tonight for your last Tampa performace.? We are so excited and honored to have you at all places, Tampa!? I had XM DJ John Clay play 'Never Ending...' on Delaney's birthday!? I look so forward to meeting the woman who made the Coast Guard come home based on your closing song from "The Guardian"!!!!!? See you in two hours!?? Can we please buy you a drink?
Scott Kjeer (Keer) and my partner Bruce Hook!!!

This is just fantastic, I found this sight
You bring new meaning to "After Midnight!".? Bonnie you look great! Wow, how you have evolved as a singer. Good g-d you have a great and quite powerful voice and the phrasing...still on!
I remember the old days. The old players, me?older too,?put the newbies to shame. I am absolutley thrilled that this site exists.
I would like to mention that your Memorial Page is quite moving. Your willingness to donate your time to important causes is, well, a fine attribute to your self being. You are a true success in life.
Thank you for all the great music in my lifetime..... more to come I am sure. Hopefully you get booked at the Birchmere or Strathmore Hall in "Don't go back to Rockville".....soon.
How about your plans in 2008? I know that constant touring is rough..... but we would love to have you come home to Maryland/DC.?
One Wild Bill....now just Bill.? ;-)

Bonnie~
Saw you in Tampa's?Hard Rock Sat., 10/27, you sounded?and looked wonderful, nothing changed.??Enjoyed?the band and all songs covered, especially your Carefree. You inspired me to?reconsider singing--our band broke?up two years ago.... I'm feeling?heartbroken & homeless.
Peace,
Lee
