Appreciating Bonnie

Hi Bonnie,

What an amazing talent you have!  As some of the other entries I've just read in your guest book, my favorite Roseanne episode was also the back yard bar-b-que. Watching John Goodman, watch you sing that song, made knowing my response as I watched was also appreciated by those right there close and in front of you.  Wow!

Just watched The Guardian this past weekend, you were awesome!

Take care & keep on a singin'...."ain't no one sings like Bonnie!"

Thanks for being you!....Dorothy in Central California

So happy to see and hear you

Bonnie, I just saw The Guardian and have a big smile on my face.  So good to see you, God bless one of my all time favorites.  Many a night I spent listening and playing along to the music of your and your many friends.  Motel Shot is still one of the best live albums ever recorded.

Here's wished for a long, long healthy life filled with more music and more acting opportunities.

Hi!

I just wanted to say hi. I love your music. My fave episode of Roseanne is the one where y'all are singing "You Really Got a Hold on Me." When you sung, it literally made me quiver. You have such an incredible voice. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Alabama theater April 18th, 2007

Dear Bonnie,

I had the honor of meeting you Wednesday night, April 18th outside the Alabama theater in Birmingham before the show. My 29 year old son made a wonderful picture of you & me.  I will treasure this photo and have already framed it. I just wanted you to know that you were amazing as usual and I have enjoyed hearing you sing since Delaney & Bonnie days.

I truly admire you and enjoy your music.

Sincerely,

Kathy in Birmingham, AL

Hard to find CD

Hi Bonnie,

I had the priviledge of partying with you many many many years ago. I'm sure there is no way you would remember me, but it was a memory I treasure.  My friend Leah Santos was singing back up for you. I used to do audio for Papa John Creach and knew Charlie Daniels (great guy) as well in those days. Your voice has always amazed me. You were and are the BEST!

I would love to find a copy of "To Bonnie from Delaney" on CD, but it is next to impossible to find. (I happen to have it on 8 track). I know they re-released it (1996) as an import  CD and again as a Japanese import in 2000. They seem to have stoped producing it. If you have any kicking around, maybe you could sell it on your site. Best of luck to you and your two beautiful daughters.

Roseanne Episode - I don't love you....

Hi Bonnie,

I finally found you!!!! My husband and I were discussing our favourite episode and I was telling him about mine, when YOU came out to the backyard and began singing the song "I don't love you, but I need you"...IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!

I was wondering if you have ever recorded the song please let me know.

Webmaster:  This is a popular question. The song Bonnie sang on episode 71 ("Scenes From A Barbecue") was "You've Really Got A Hold On Me" , which appeared on Bonnie's second Capricorn album, "Lady's Choice" (1976).  Bonnie also sang "Roll On Down" with David Crosby on episode 86 ("The Bowling Show") but hasn't recorded that song for an album.  See www.bonniebramlett.co.uk for details of all of Bonnie's official recordings.

You, Jonell & Jesus

Jonell is a good friend of mine and emailed  a couple days ago saying she was going to do some session work with you this week.  That prompted me to check up on your latest happenings where I happily learned you are a believer, too.  Jonell and I have had many long conversations about the wonderful goodness of the Lord - He has [been], is and will be a tower of strength in times of madness.  Anyway, I just wanted to say "hey" and wish you great success in this new project!

See you,  Robert E. Mason

Yes!! you have fans down here too, since the 70s and forever!! you're a legend!! hope you're doing well.  Love you.

Bonnie's Comfort

When I was a lost and lonely hippie girl hitchiking around the US, I always looked for Bonnie on the jukebox. That golden whiskey voice plaintively singing Superstar always gave expression to the longings that I felt so often during those years. I have always felt the musical comfort of strong women like Bonnie Bramlett, Bonnie Raitt, Tracey Nelson, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, etc. etc. etc. Beautiful women whose songs colored my life. Thank you for the bottom of my 56 year old heart!!

Linda

P.S. you need to make your Tee Shirts in 1X and 2X girl!

Don Imus

Bonnie,
Great web-site cutie, I just love you and also wanted to say that I am so up-set with what has happened to a good person, Don Imus. He has done so much not only for kids, politicians and people like us in our Music Industry. I feel that he has been befriended by Ford and other's. Ford could have stepped up to the plate but he took the middle road and did nothing to help a friend. He could have helped our country by stepping to the plate but didn't. What a shame.
Perhaps Ford is busy helping his fellow people in New Orleans at this time but I doubt it.
Come see us soon. We need some hugs from our special friend when you can in your busy schedule.
I am venting and am writing many more e-mails this morning. My first was to MSNBC. Now, it's Ford's time & that other guy who is running for President. Can't spell his name but you know who I am talking about.
Rock on cutie, Happy motoring always and love always,
Aleene
