Just to say "love your music"

Ran into a old friend that grew up with the Allman Bros in Florida and started to talk about you of all persons and what a great voice you gave to southern rock.  If your group ever gets to Charleston, SC let me know.

comming home

Bonnie-you're simply the best.  Last time I saw you was at the Sheldon at a benefit for the Blues Society.  When are you comming home to St. louis to perform again? Wish you'd come back on a regular basis.

Was that you?

I watched a movie last night call "The Guardian." I think that it was you playing the part of the bar owner/singer. Am I right or do I owe my husband five bucks? Pat Hatherly

Webmaster: As you can see on the Home and News pages of this site, that was indeed our Bonnie.  Five bucks saved... add a few more and treat yourself to a CD?

hello girl

Hey bonnie- Send me that pic of us from the Etta james concert! Hope you are well- Love, benita

Your unmistakable voice

Saw the Guardian, with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kusher in early October ; posted a note on the old web site that went nowhere.

New web site, so here's the msg.  When the scene at the bar came up, heard that voice.  Still powerful and immediately recognizable.

Always good to hear you, was it two years ago at BB Kings in NYC? Stay well

Webmaster: Apologies to Bob and all who tried to use the guestbook when it wasn't working during 2006.  Slowly but surely we're aiming to develop the site and we appreciate your interest and comment.

ALTON,IL

Dear Bonnie; "HI" I received from my children for Christmas this year the "History of the Mississippi River Festival" by Steve Kerber and Amanda Bahr-Evola. In this book on page 55 they have a picture on you on stage at MRF in 1970. In the text they mention you were born in Alton,IL..I also was born in Alton in 1950. I was hanging out with local musicians in the early 60's and 70's,but I did not know your Alton connection till I read the book.

My former brother-in-law was in a 60's band called The Panics and they were voted #1 Band in 1964..I used to travel with him and got to know Gayle McCormick (Later group called Smith) and Bob Kuban.

Too bad I didn't get to meet you back then, but wanted you to know I truly appreciate the fact that you have stayed true to your musical roots...Best of Luck Always...your contemporary friend...Marc

Thrilled

So glad you are singing on the new record Bonnie.  To me you are 'The First Lady of Rock 'n Soul' and I am absolutely thrilled and honored  to  be working with you on this project.

All the best and God bless you Bonnie in your endeavors.

North European Tour 2007

Hi Bonnie,

Great to hear that you will be doing some dates on our side of the pond soon. Hope you can get up to Northern England, maybe Liverpool or Manchester

Don't know if you are familiar with a guy called Jools Holland who has a live music show over here (on the BBC) which features a great mix of artists. Perhaps whoever is organising your trip could contact his producers to see if they would be interested in you doing something for one of his shows. It would  be great to see you on there.

Hope to see you next year - and a very Happy New Year to you and all your family and friends!
